Photos from Libation to Aphrodite
We had four people present for this ritual, which we held indoors due to very cold winter weather. Enjoy the photos we took during the ritual.
These first two photos were taken just before the ritual began. You can see we used some framed images of statues of Aphrodite, rose petals scattered on the altar, flowers, incense, and a libation bowl. The small votive candle is in a crystal holder shaped like a shell.
On the left, a guest offer a libation of wine. Center, another guest offers honey. Right, myself reading the Hymn to Aphrodite.
