Libation to Demeter and Persephone
We had 3 adults and 1 child in attendance, which was a few less than anticipated. But, that didn't detract at all from the ritual. As you can see in the pictures, we held this outside, at a local park.
Here is a guest offering a libation of milk.
Myself, offering a honey libation.
Another guest, offering a libation of oil.
And, last but not least, my son offering a milk libation, with a little help ;)
As these libations are not meant to be long rituals, we opted to not bring food with us to the site. We did, however, all go to a nearby restaurant, and had a Greek meal-- Spanikopita (spinach pie).
