This ritual was held on the same day as the Libation to Aphrodite, and thus the same four people were present.

Here is a photo of the altar before the ritual began. One it you can see a statue and an image of Dionysos, an ivy garland, central flame (sterno), flowers, incense, etc. Under the altar are the various cups and wine jugs that participants will be using during the ritual.

In these two photos, guests are making offerings to Dionysos. Grapes, food, and the liknon have been added to the altar.

On the left is myself, approaching the altar, and on the right is a guest offering a plate of food.

On the left, I help my son make a libation to Dionysos. On the right, he takes his first sips from his new wine jug. (It was mostly grape juice with a little wine mixed in.)

Here a guest makes an offering to the deceased at the eskhara to Khthonic Hermes.
For some unknown reason, most of the photos from this ritual are blurry, and for that we apologize. We have been wondering why this has happened, as it is quite unusual for the camera and the space. Perhaps it is related to the energy in the room...<wink>
The script from the ritual is posted here.
